Maria Lawless resides in Whanganui New Zealand with her husband and the youngest of their three children, two black cats, and a white Muscovy duck. She is a Polymath and Autodidact and is constantly learning or creating. Maria moved to New Zealand in 2010 and fell in love, not only with her husband, but the country and its people. She is a now permanent resident and has found her paradise.

 

One of 11 children, she has a vast amount of knowledge and life experience to offer others insight and clarity into most situations; from the mundane to the Universal.  This, coupled with an inter-generational psychic gifts and Ancestral ties, allow her a unique view of life contracts and timelines, that she loves to share with seekers.

 

She passed the High School Equivalency test at 12 years old, attended Computer College at 13 with a scholarship she won in 1983. She has had many careers throughout her life. She went from being a Motel maid at 12 to help support the family, to owing her own business.

 

Maria has been helping people reconnect with their own higher wisdom for over 20 years. Being Empathic and Clairsentient* since birth, she has felt others pain and has been able to see past lives and potential timelines since childhood. For many years, she struggled to understand what she was experiencing and decided to find a way to better understand and cope with her Sensory challenges.

As an avid reader since childhood, Maria turned to books and read over 700 books on spirituality, psychology, Autism, self-help, metaphysics, healing modalities and world religions looking to understand her challenges and abilities. She decided she needed further guidance and sought other paths. You can see some of her reading list on Goodreads. She challenges herself to read 50 books per year and learn a new skill.

 

Maria began written channeling in her 20s and opened herself to her abilities instead of fighting them as she had been taught by the fear-based religious teachings from her childhood. She opened to the energies that had been there throughout her life and found comfort in the peaceful, loving energies of being held in oneness.

When Maria's mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, she trained with Reiki Masters in California to better understand and control her empathic abilities and be able to help ease her mother's pain. That was the start of a beautiful healing journey and connection that they shared until her Mother's passing, and continues today from Spirit.

 

She then trained with a Psychic Medium for several years to learn how to hone her natural Psychic, Empathic and Healing abilities. She also studied Psychology, Sociology, Understanding Addiction, Early Childhood Development, Human Sexuality and World Religions in college all to better understand humanity and the challenges so many face that cause them the pain and grief that she had been experiencing all her life through her empathic abilities.

Maria has clients and students all over the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the UK. She does animal communication and has equine, feline and canine clients. She works with individuals, couples, and children and has worked with people of all ages, from pre-conception through to 94 years old. 

 

She has been interviewed both in print and on television. She was a guest on both Paranormal Connection as well being guest psychic on the Nancy Bradley Psychic Hour . She was also a part of a paranormal investigation show with her colleagues and teacher. With the show, she did investigations, reviewed footage, attended conferences, in studio camera work, co-host and phone switchboard for live calls.

Maria has spent years getting to know herself, she has done a lot of inner work and study, both on her own and with psychologists and therapists. She understands that growth is an ever-expanding journey of rediscovering our own unique talents and path, and now she shares her gift with others. She has penned nearly 400 poems, plus short stories and channeled messages that she is putting into collections.

 

Her passion is helping people to rediscover their own innate gifts and be their witness as they blossom to embrace their own unique path. She teaches Spiritual Development, Reiki and Mentors others to develop their own gifts.

Maria is unable to work regular hours due to a head injury in 2014 that has developed into Post Concussive Disorder with Essential Tremor and Parkinsonian symptoms. She still is able to create, and write and always does what she can, but due to the erratic nature of the disorder she never knows when or how it will manifest; which makes for difficult scheduling clients.

​

Always looking to the bright side, she is enjoying having time for her creativity, learning and collating her writing between naps and brain fog. She is blessed that her family, clients and students understand and are happy to work around her challenges. As she says, time is a concept she has never really been good at obeying.
