Ancestral Path Tarot

This week's card pull from my deck collection, is the Ancestral Path Tarot by Julie Cuccia-Watts and Tracey Hoover. Published in 1995 by U.S.Games Systems. This is one of the oldest decks in my collection. It has been republished, but I love still having this old girl on my shelves.

This deck is really cool in it's concept and design. This deck portrays different cultural Ancestral beliefs to help guide one on their journey while opening them to an expanded world view, and our connection to each other.

The suits are slightly different; you have Swords, Staves (Wands), Cups, and Sacred Circles (Coins). They share Myth and legend of Japanese and Ainu cultures (Swords), Egyptian (Staves), British; Arthurian /Grail (Cups) and Native American;

Menominee (Sacred Circles)

It has a little white paper book of 24 pages, and came in a cardboard box. The cards are nice for shuffling with a decent thickness and slide. They are a real treat for any mythology or history lovers as they have some great characters from myth and legend from multiple cultures.

These have been reprinted and I have tried out the reprints and they are well done. I do recommended this original set if you can find it, or the reprints for your collection.
