Book Excerpt

When you think you are doing a simple blog post and look up and a few hours have disappeared, and over 4,600 words have appeared.

Apparently, I am back working on the book and am no longer alone in this process.

Time to get some ink and paper so I can print out all the writing sessions, and collate them into one and let this flow continue.

Here is an excerpt from today’s session…

[Existence is myriad and it is interactive. We cannot be defined as static beings because we are energy. Energy can be changed from one form to another, but it cannot be created or destroyed in the way we are led to believe. Denying that is denying reality and thus causing disturbance and turbulence within ourselves and each other. We don’t cease to exist after death. We simply change form. Our energy becomes something else.

Some of us live with vast wealth and more than they can possibly use in this lifetime or the next. Some are living from paycheck to paycheck but in their own homes, and maybe if they are lucky, on their own land. Some have three generations living in a small home and all generations must work, to be able to sustain and afford that roof over their heads. Some are in campers or tents, or cars. Some have only a sleeping bag and a small stash of items. There are some with only the clothes on their back.

People think they know which of these will be happy and which will be numb. Likely, they have it backwards. You see, the ones with no money, are forced to face not only their shadows every day. They also face the shadows of every person around them, they see the contrast every day between the best and worst of Humanity, from love to from fear.

Every moment they are at the mercy of others to be able to sustain life.  They can be met with a hot meal or a kick, some cash or someone stealing their shoes while they have their back turned, they can be held as they weep or stabbed as they sleep, someone may offer them a warm night indoors and a shower or they may be shoved out of a warm doorway and into the cold streets.

They come to understand the world in way that many still can’t grasp. They have been forced some times through their own decisions, but more often by situations out of their control, to live a life which to others looks miserable. Yet, through their struggle and their strife, these are the people who know how to survive, and more importantly, they know how to love. They are some of the most compassionate, giving and kindest people you will ever encounter. These are the Enlightened Ones, They exude Christ Consciousness. They are Angels walking amongst us.

How do we treat them? We look down on them and judge them and some even abuse or kill them. Why? Because they represent an option that most cannot fathom. They stopped playing the game. They removed themselves from control, albeit in a drastic and often times unnecessary singular path. They removed the numbness and felt the oneness of all life. They have escaped the Matrix, the illusion and the social construct. Of course they still suffer, but it does not define them.

We are all facing the same prospect at this time that so many of our Human family face every single day. We are in a panic. We are reacting as if we will cease to exist and we are once again thrust into survival mode. We are now faced with the thought of living life as ‘those’ people do, every day. The same people you may have looked down on or judged or walked past without regard or tithing. The irony here is that we have seen this story unfold before.

Jesus Christ lived this life, but we don’t remember that part of the story. He did not have a home, belongings, a hoard of food, nor the tethers placed upon him by his society. He was a rebel, a rabble-rouser, he pissed people off. He was killed by the very people you look to now as your leaders in his teachings. The very people who help suppress his true teachings, are the ones you flock to for comfort instead of the people who are living as he lived.

His teachings were not in a book, he lived them every day. He was a LIVING EXAMPLE of what we are capable of. He carried the light within him that allowed him to create what we call miracles. You also have that light inside, he said that himself.  He who believeth in me and the works that I do, they will also do these things and greater, because I am returning to my father and my father is in me.

These are the words I see and hear when I see Jesus. He does not show me words in a book, he shows me snippets of time, events and teachings in homes and woods and caves, and I see his dirty feet, and his scraggly hair, and his untrimmed beard and torn robes and I feel the unconditional love that pours forth from his wide-open heart.

There are so many beautiful teachings that we can find if we have the eyes to see. So many of his teachings have such beauty and subtle, yet powerful lessons. For example, we hear that he walked on water, water is emotion, he learned to walk above the emotion, he saw through the projections people portray.

His Faith and his connection was tried time and time again until he was ready to give in, and at the last moment, he remembered who he was. He remembered our oneness and that of the divine. He knew he was ascending and that we all will eventually and then we will do it all again as many times as it takes for us to experience this oneness.

The whole bible is full of metaphors, but we try and allow ourselves to be brainwashed by a society which is ill-equipped to translate his original teachings without human bias because they are looking with human eyes, and not those of Christ Consciousness, or Enlightenment.

In all honesty, people have become so accustomed to being told what to do, that having power over their own lives scares the shit out of them. Having to make decisions for themselves makes them responsible for their reactions, they can no longer blame a fictional character for their own sins. They must take ownership and face their own ‘demons.’

If you have ever had the pleasure of spending time in a homeless encampment, or chatting with a homeless person, you will hear them call you brother or sister. This is not a condescending thing, nor is it anything but their recognition of you as part of the Human family and they are absolutely correct. They are the sages and saints of our time, walking this earth in service, right in the open, we walk past them every day and have no idea… we don’t have the sight.

They won’t stay here long, and will likely leave en masse unless we are ready to hear their wisdom. Unless we are ready to take their offering, their sacrifices and their suffering for all of humanity, has been wasted. We are told of one man who had this power of the Christ consciousness, and we believed foolishly, that we could not attain that status in our bodies. Yet people all over the world are doing it every day.]
