Mama Jung Oracle

Updated: Oct 9

This week's card pull and deck review from my deck collection, is an indie deck. The Mama Jung Oracle was created by my amazing friend Justine, of Hand Me That Pencil. Justine self publishes in Whanganui and has some truly amazing decks on her website and Etsy. She's a gifted artist and creator.

Feel free to choose a card (or couple of cards) below. Come back on Thursday and scroll to the bottom for card and crystal meanings.

Leave a comment below with your card choice(s) so I know you are here and can say Hi! Feedback is also a great way to work your intuition and learn to trust it.

Also, anyone who shares the post on Facebook goes into the draw for a free 3 card personal reading. Please let me know you have shared.

I have 4 decks by Justine now, and I am always impressed by her craft. Each one has its own personality and is beautifully rendered in her unique style. This deck, and another I recently acquired are simply gorgeous.

Justine's decks come without a printed book, but the book is available in a download that you can use digitally or print yourself. I don't mind doing this, and have printed out the books for my HMTP decks.

They don't come with a box either, which is also not an issue for me. I love a challenge, and I get to to make crocheted pouch for my decks geared towards the decks themselves.

The characters in this deck are so cool. As you could have guessed they are based off of Jungian Archetypes and Justine did a brilliant job with this theme. I had the pleasure of watching her progress online, while she was creating this one and I couldn't wait to see the whole thing together.

There are 35 cards, and they are bright, colourful and easy to shuffle. On the front is the card artwork, number and name. The backs are all the same with the deck logo.

There are also 35 pages in the digital book with full images in colour of the artwork, and the name, number and meaning.

I highly recommend this deck for your collection because it is very unique and it is by a local artist. It is always great supporting Indie Deck Creators, especially when they are a friend of mine. ;)
