This week's card pull and deck review from my deck collection, is the Messenger Oracle 2nd Edition, with both; the writing and art work by Ravynne Phelan. This version was published in 2021, by Blue Angel Publishing.

THIS WEEK'S CARD PULL

This deck, and the Seeker Oracle also by Ravynne Phelan, are probably the two I use most often for myself or quick guidance for others. I also take them on the road with me when I do reading days out of town. All of her decks are the most unique and amazing decks I have seen. I can't say enough about the quality of all of them. The artwork and the writing are both unique and excellent. The decks really compliment each other and I often shuffle them up together to use.

Like her Dreams of Gaia, the colours and style of the artwork is just breath taking. I could spend hours just searching through the detail in the images, which is great for oracle reading. I would say that the images have a fantasy, elemental, and enchanted forest appeal to them. I often will spot new details in the cards that I had missed previously.

This deck too, has a diverse cast of characters, creatures and energies and is just a true work of art. The writing is smaller than in the Dreams of Gaia, but still very powerful and insightful. This deck, I would recommend for those who wish to get quick, clear guidance.

There are 55 cards, and they are nice and thick, yet easy to shuffle. On the front is the card artwork and name.

There are 73 pages in the book with full images in black and white of the artwork, and the name and meaning. The outside of the booklet is in full colour and it is quite a lovely little book.

This deck is gorgeous and I hope if you get yourself a copy and take it home and give it the love it deserves. All of Ravynne's decks are amazing, I have 3 now.
