Meet Otso Katu a Spirit Lynx and Guide who visited me last night, reminding me of a time long ago, when she was my companion.
One morning, in another time, she was crying out in pain having been attacked by a large bird. Wounded and seeking shelter and healing, which I eagerly offered for her guidance over the years. She was circling my hut trying to get through the hunting parties rotation. I thought it was to come inside, but sadly, I found – that once there was an opening to enter -with no one about, that she wanted to bid me farewell. She let me know how much she enjoyed our time spent, and that she would come back to me, beyond the transition.
It was devastating that I could not save her from the hunters, though I tried; they were far too full of fear and rage. For no reason other than myths and legends, she and her kind did nothing to them. She was frightened of their wrath… of what they would do to me – if they found her with me. She would not come inside, she said goodbye and ran, and my heart sank, as I knew I would never brush my hand over her soft, beautiful face again, nor hear her powerful and loving animal speak soothing my weary soul.
Rest now my dear companion, you are now free to go where you please without fear. I welcome your guidance once more ancient friend. – Lotura
