This week's card pull and deck review from my deck collection, is Star Temple Oracle by Suzy Cherub with Artwork by Laila Savolainen. Published in 2020 through Blue Angel Publishing.

This deck I saw on the Blue Angel website when it was coming out, and decided then I would get one -then got distracted, as I do. I found this one recently on trade me. Someone I know was selling their copy, so I got it straight away. It is in mint condition and I just love it!

The cards were a bit distracting at first because the images appear to be celebrity photos that have been ...augmented. You can change the look of someone like Cate Blanchet, Pink, Charlize Theron, Maya Angelou, Brad Pitt, Katheryn Winnik and others, but their powerful energy still shines through. After I got past reading the energies to unmask the character behind the cards, I found it really fascinating to see the creativity behind the changes.

The deck is an oracle deck. It has 44 cards with an image of the archetype, name, a keyword and an affirmation. The card backs are all the same, which I really love. The colours are so sublime and you feel the energy of the Stars. The Book is your standard Blue Angel book with 104 pages. Each card has 1 page of information; a small black and white image of the card, Star Words and a short message about the archetype and the energies/meaning. It also has some interesting spread, and some instructions.

The deck is about Seven Sisters of the Pleiades and the cards are divided into those Star archetypes. Each series has 6 cards and there are two for the parent cards. It is well thought out and so far the messages have been really on point for everyone I have used them with, including myself. I really love this one, especially as I have always felt a connection to the Pleiades myself.

The images have so much detail and movement, very watery and celestial. Very fluid and they are really intuitive to read, with or without the booklet. The colours are both light and dark and they add to the them beautifully. This is another deck that you could use for ritual work, daily inspiration or deep meditation.

I will likely never let this one go, it is a keeper for sure. If you add this one to your collection, please let me know what you think of her. Oh, and also, if you can spot anyone familiar. I just saw they have done a Water Temple deck last year, so I will definitely be adding that one to my collection.
