I have had a couch on my wish list since last year. I have a product flyer here somewhere in my office that I got from the furniture store when I looked at it originally. I kept it at work so I could look at it all the time to help me manifest it.
I went into that store a couple weeks ago because we have family who works there and we wanted to get some ideas to organise my home office. We went to look at small couches and chairs. First thing I saw as of course the larger version of the couch I want, the 3-seater. It is on display in front of the store. Every time we drive by, I say, there’s my couch, or one like it. I sat on it and told Brent, that though I love it, it is too big for my office.
I have been watching listings looking for something I like. I was surprised to see a smaller version of the sofa listed on Trade Me. I was blown away as it is in awesome condition and small enough for my office. It was one of those moments where you know it is not a coincidence.
Unfortunately, we had my daughter’s birthday, my website and domain renewal fees, and I just finished paying off my Magdalene course, last week. So my funds were a bit low for such a crazy purchase. But, me being me, I knew it was my couch. I changed the name on the listing on our watch list to Maria’s Birthday Present before I went to bed on the 22nd thinking, if it is meant to be, it will be mine.
Now, my birthday is the same as my late mother, 22/02, I was born at 2:22pm, this being 2022, I should have known Mom would step in to get that couch for me. I inherited her somewhat baroque style and need to surround myself with beautiful sensory pleasing things. This couch is patchwork velvet, not everyone’s taste for sure; but it was moms, and it is definitely mine.
On the 22nd ;) I changed that listing and went to bed. Mom woke me up at 12:40am telling me if I want it -I needed to take action and told me to offer a giveaway so that people know that I am working and might book in. So I did, I also updated my website and listed my monthly live events for the whole year, and even created a membership program. She really lit a fire under my ass. I went back to bed and in the morning, I already had messages coming in for bookings.
Today the ad on trade me expired, and I had said if I had the money in my account, I would buy it, I didn’t -so I let it go. A bit later, most of the money was in my account. Bugger, or so I thought for a split second before my Wookie forwarded a message from the seller offering it to me for $60 less than it was listed for.
I was so freaking stoked but about $40 short. I had told my niece and sisters about the couch, and updated the on the offer; and they sent me money for my birthday through Paypal! They said it was a gift from Mom and I needed it. We paid for it today, and we collect it on Saturday. 5 freaking days y'all -that is all it took to manifest!
Now back to the laughter, because spirit loves a good joke. Of the people who booked in, to help make this possible, 4 have names that start with a J, the lady I bought the couch from starts with a J, and one more stopped by, her name also starts with a J. That is 6 people with a J name. These are not regular clients either; they book in maybe once or twice a year.
Let's tie it all together for you -my mother’s name was Judith, she has 5 siblings, three have passed and are there with her -laughing at me; Jimmy, Johnny and Joyce. The other two are Janice and Joanne. 6 J’s. Message received loud and clear. I am so in awe of how they helped make this possible from their end and even 'signed their names' so to speak.
What an awesome year this is going to be. I feel such gratitude right now, for my clients, students, my family and Ancestors. What an amazing Soul Family. Be ready family because they are saying they will be busy this year, ask for what you want.
