The Cozy Witch Tarot

This week's card pull and deck review from my deck collection, is yet another super cute deck that I had to have. The Cozy Witch Tarot offers guidance from the most gorgeous, cozy witches ever. As happens when I visit Denita, she shared the perfect deck for me and I immediately bought one her at the Woo-woo Shop. This deck is by Amanda Lovelace with artwork by Janaina Medeiros and published through Andrews McMeel Publishing.

The artwork, of this deck, like their other deck (Believe in your own magic Oracle), is very whimsical, colourful, diverse and fun. The deck has a real autumn vibe and the writing is like talking to an older sister, you will be told what you need to -not what you want to!

THIS WEEK'S CARD PULL

The deck is really sweet and as I mentioned above is not too sweet with the messages, just enough to make you love them though.

The 125 page book has nice thick pages. It is a black and white book with images of the cards, the name, a phrase and both upright and reversed message. This is one that you can use often for quick messages and would get a clear answer. You could pull a card and meditate upon if you sat with the card just a few moments. You could use it as a secondary to a tarot deck and pull for more clarity. It is also great for daily readers or for use with clients.

The 78 Cards are standard oracle size, which is nice for a tarot. full colour nice and thick and slide easily, even with a matte finish. The backs are all the same design of swords, pentacles, candles (wands) and coffee cups!!I LOVE the card backs so much and the cups are such a cute suit in this deck - the play on the suits in the artwork is just adorable.

The face images are all unique artwork, with cozy things like animals and coffee and other homey, cute cottage vibe things. There are a variety of cool settings; some inside and some out in nature, some in shops or cafes, all sorts. They are just so fun too explore. The card face also has the name, including suit and number and a phrase which is great if you are just learning tarot or normally read oracle cards. They used so many colours in the artwork too, a muted autumn pallet and nice and moody.

The box is a nice small sturdy, as is the box with full colour and plain interior that will last well. Nice and easy to open, which is great if you are clumsy like me.

I definitely would recommend this one for your collection, because it is just so darned cute and great to work with. Heck, you may as well get the oracle deck that I mentioned above because they work so well together. I will write about that one next week.
