I am excited to be combining my passion for Graphic Design with my love of tarot, oracle and other divination decks. This means that I will begin publishing my own line of Zine Oracle Decks; mini decks obviously -and other crazy new stuff that you will freaking love.
Zines (short for magazine) are small versions of a published work, often you will see them in the punk, metal music scene, some fandoms, summer vacay, book lover, geekfest, poetry etc. They are a place to share your unique voice with others without the restraints of the publishing world. They can be about anything, like even mac n cheese....
I love this format as it was the pre - social media of our youth (Gen X). It reminds me of when I was younger and we made small books for our friends over summer, like 'mixed tapes of our lives or interests.'
As many of you know by now, my focus / executive function is not so great, I always have a heap of projects going and have difficulty finishing anything. Truth. Ouch. SO anyhew.... It is much worse now with the memory loss and Post Concussive Disorder.
Zines are the glorious answer to my woes. I shall endeavor through the Zines to not only publish my Graphic work, Mixed media Oracle, Tarot, Lenormand and other deck minis - I will also create my own divination system!
I will publish my Poetry, Stories, Spiritual teachings and Life hacks as well as each one pops into focus for me. My Crochet patterns will also be Zines. I have found the Muses all vie for attention, and I want to engage them all. I look forward to entering this new creative phase with the ability to share as I go along!
It will be an interactive weekly process so I hope you can come along and share your input! I love how you guys share your feedback and support.
My Zines will be released every month or two, and the first sneak peeks of 'The Colourful Seer Zine' will be released this Thursday as the card reveal for the post I did on socials today. The images in the post are only mocks, the cards themselves will be much more detailed. ;)

These will all be multimedia works of art and will vary in materials, but all cards will be card stock and removable without ruining the zines. Pre-orders are available and I will print and bind each one. I will also add a personal message for you, if you ask. :)
